Has a developer created a website for you and just handed it over. Was the website created in a framework which will allow you (A non developer) to easily add content to the website and keep it interesting for your audience to come back to. If the answer is NO, then you are duped.
A website which is not frequently updated is a dead website according to the search engine. It is most beneficial for you to update content on the website atleast twice a week.
You are a specialist in your area. You have valuable expertise, which when shared with common people can be infinitely valuable to them but if you don’t have the facility to post your own content on YOUR OWN website, how good is it. The missing framework in your website is just not allowing you to communicate with your prospective clients and thus may be you are losing out on some additional revenue.
Something to think about.
